Thrustor is an electro hydraulic device,designed to exert a constant force to anymechanism to be operated.The Thrustor works on the principle ofhydraulics. On supply of electric power,motor driven centrifugal impeller draws the oilfrom the low pressure end of the chamber tothe high pressure upper end. The pistonmounted on the same shaft moves to theupper end with full thrust, till its movement isstopped by the stopper shoulder at the endof the stroke. Pressure build up stops whenpower is discontinued. Radial blade designof the impeller enables it to rotate both inclockwise and anticlockwise direction.Therefore power supply to the star connectioncan be in any R-Y-B phase sequence.
